I'm sure Theo Howard only chose oregon due to the uniforms.

I was betting it was the facilities

@Olyduck @BeaverShaver

You are both wrong.

It is the Barber Shop inside the facilities.

Take it from me, African American run barber shops are the best.

My hair game is ON POINT!!!!!1!

You're all wrong. It's because Oregon is the only place where he can earn a degree is fashion design and not get beaten up by his teammates. :bump2:

Not only got it, but now defending their American Collegiate Hockey Association national title and on the way to Division 1.

"Got it" means it's a varsity sport now, or will be. While the club team's success is admirable, there is an ocean of difference between a good ACHA team and the top end D-1 schools. A team like Minnesota has as many or more future pro's on it as a top 25 type football team. Most years, Minny, North Dakota, etc. have between 10-18 guys already drafted by the NHL.

Question for the PAC (not a dig at the Ducks):

Did the CCG prove that defense wins/loses games?

Are you talking basketball of football? Because what i saw in the football CCG game was dominance on both sides of the ball by Oregon.

Basketball was a completely different story. Arizona was just way too much for Oregon.

The CCG was a joke. Solomon wasn't ready for prime time and their defense stunk up the place. They had the luck of beating Oregon earlier in the year when Oregon had a banged up offensive line. The souths top teams turned out to be shit and Arizona was just at the top of the pile of crap.

The Rose bowl showed that florida state came up against a team who you couldnt turn the ball over against over and over and still win. Momentum goes the Ducks ways and they know how to pile on.

The NCG showed what a big strong O and D line can accomplish against the Ducks especially if you have the athletes on defense to make them work for every yard. Thats the good news the bad news is no one has that yet in the Pac. USC is close but not as deep as Ohio State so Ducks might have one last hurah.

Don't count on it, USC lost the cat. However, I'm sure USC has enough to cap that ass

--Arizona State received tough news on Tuesday, as wide receiver Cameron Smith is going to be out for the season due to a knee injury that required surgery.

Smith was a solid contributor in his sophomore campaign, catching 41 passes for 596 yards and six scores. With leading receiver Jaelen Strong heading to the NFL, Smith was likely going to take over as the team's top receiving option along with running back D.J. Foster, who caught 62 passes for 688 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Now, the Sun Devils will need other players to step up in Smith's stead.

While Smith will be missing his junior season, the hope will be that he can return at 100 percent in his senior season and continue to progress as he did in his first two seasons. While it was always unlikely he could have replicated Strong's production this year, he certainly would have been a reliable target for the team.

ASU has a good chance with Bercovici next year, but the Ducks will still be the dominant force.

3-star Dual Threat QB Khalil Tate (Gardena, CA) has committed to Arizona. His offers included USC, UCLA, Utah, Cal Oregon St., WSU, Tex A&M, Nebraska, and FSU. Considered one of the top athletes on the west coast who plays the WR position very well too.
