From another team's viewpoint it appears cocky. From our fanbase it is just the norm. Our fans realize the Ducks are a top 5 team and in the discussion every year.

Better being relevant than not if you ask me. Been nearly a decade since SC was on the national radar as even a contender.

See thats whats funny. USC is on another level. Its been relevant and it continues to be relevant and more on the radar than Oregon even when they were in sanctions. The 2006 Championship game even though they lost was in many peoples opinion the best championship game in decades it it came after 2 AP national championships and during a time USC won or at least played great on the biggest stage. Oregon is laughed at because all this offense all the glitz and you lost both championship games and the last with your best player ever you shit the bed and all your chest puffing now doesn't change that.
But it does make for great chit talking during the off season.lol. I'm in talks with friends for that trip to Autzen (sp)
