Agree. I've seen too much good from him over the last 2 and a half years to ever want to sit him if he can go. He's a fantastic QB. Had a fairly off game, but I'm happy to forgive that. My concern is he probably wasn't really healthy and played anyways

On the flipside, if he just got knocked silly, we might be back to Bercovici anyways.

Well, Wiz, that is a hell of a defense at UW. You should be cooking by next season if you can keep the defense out of the NFL. Don't know if we deserved a win after the poor decisions by our leaders, but we'll take it. In the end, it looks like you called it exactly right all around.

No doubt, can't take anything away from Arizona cause they are the better team and deserved to win. I hate that he reverted back to his bullshit playcalling, not being a leader of a team just the leader of the offense, his ego came back and his bullshit of caring more about stats than building a program. There was zero reason that Halliday was in the game trying to get Mayle the new school record instead of giving Falk some meaningful gametime. Arizona had called off the dogs so it's not like he would be coming in and facing the A squad. He ran off Apodaca and Bruggman so asking either a true freshman, rd freshman or a walk on sophomore to come in a put the ball up 60 times is going to be an utter embarrassment next year.

I was actually proud of the little stretch of games even though we lost most of them where he showed humility and interacted with the entire team on the sidelines. The Cal game was not only a loss but gave Leach his unhealthy ego back where his sh*t don't stink, it showed against Stanford and it showed against Arizona.

Well, as I just posted on the UW team board, who gives a shit at this point? We can talk/type about how adequate our defense is until we're blue in the face/our fingers fall off and it's all fucking irrelevant. The offense needs to score points to win, and that's something they're clearly not prepared to do...

I still think UW is looking at about an 8 win season. and still think given time Petersen will have them more competative even as early as next season.

I'm not concerned about Petersen in the long run and I'm still thrilled he's at Washington. But for this season I'm not even confident we will get to a bowl game right now. Going to have to score points to beat (at least) 4 out of the 5 teams left on the schedule, and that's not a thing this offense does.

But he has some work to do with his staff.

Not sure about next year. Losing pretty much the entirety of whats holding this team together right now, the play makers on the D. 5 of the front 7 are seniors and Shaq will very likely leave as as well.

Shaq is in Mariota, Strong territory. Unless something really changes and they aren't going to be clear cut 1st rounders, they're gone.

Just sad to see a defense that good wasted with an offense that bad. It's shocking how bad it is this year. I don't get this.

We honestly had no reason to expect a great offense this year considering all of the losses on that side of the ball, and a new coaching staff. A bumpy road should have been expected. But not this bad. We had signs of a promising run game at the very least. Maybe not Sankey'esque but our RBs still had big averages last season and the oline was returning.

Theres no reason for the O to be this bad.

It's Smith. He doesn't have enough experience at this level, and UW isn't the place for him to get it.
