There's a difference between yeo being unnecessarily paranoid and picking his team to lose in games they really have little chance in losing, and fans being realistic about where their team is right now. Maybe IB wasn't confident enough to pick UW in the pick'em, but I did and yet all of us are just keeping it real about this team.

I'll be there tonight in the pouring rain and wind with my 12/yo and we will root our asses off. Excited to see what Troy can bring to the offense and see how this defense bounces back after last week.

Very hard to be overly confident playing a ranked team when you have just 1 RB and he's a guy that has had 3 prior seasons end with ACL surgeries. I mean how is a brand new QB going to come in and pretend they are WSU and try to score all night without any real running threat.

Well - Colorado does have the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics (JILA), so I would say the PAC is all set in the Rocket Scientist department.

I get it real well.

UWs offense sucks and will have a hard time getting points against a team that doesnt have a hard time scoring.

I get that Smith is a beaver and you want him to be successfull.

But the fact is, he is the main reason the offense sucks.

Start thinking positive, TF. Somebody will win the South. If it's not you, its likely your own fault. The balls in your court since you have already played ASU and Zona and lead the division. Zona has shown that the Ducks can be had even at home. The fight for the South and the CCG starts today with four closely matched and ranked teams in the dogfight to be whittled to one. Great football ahead to finish the season. All aboard?? (My money is on ASU to repeat since it won't necessarily be the best team that wins it.)

I'm positive, but also realistic. USC has been going with around 50 scholarship players for much of the season and a couple of guys we were hoping to get back soon for a little more depth, were recently ruled out for the season. That's not even counting Josh Shaw who may or may not be re-instated at some point after the fake drowning nephew thing.

I think that sooner or later all of that has to catch up with us. I'll be watching every game hoping and praying that I'm wrong, though.

Having 4 of your 5 RB's injured and out has something to do with it as well.

Reports are they might have to give carries to a walk on back tonight.

When you have to have your starting LB be a big part of your running game plan you are in trouble and we all know it.

But that doesn't mean the upset can't happen.

I don't think your negativity will affect the team, so I don't intend to watch the game. I will put it on DVR and I will watch it, but only if we win. You could do the same and save your youngster from a miserable four hours.

Williams has to give you guys a better chance to score than Miles though. It was garbage time but Williams was more impressive in his garbage time against Oregon than Miles has been in all of his games which except for Stanford were far inferior teams.

I said they were crap and on their way out with Mora. Poor display of knowledge on my part. They are on the same trail they followed last year. Lost a couple of early Pac12 games and then ran the table the rest of the year.

Looks like the Bruins will follow that recipe this year as well. They turned the corner last week at Cal and are destroying the Buffs today.

I would like to make my apologies to VitaMike now and get back ON dat Bruin Bandwagon for the rest of the year. Tinkle these boys are getting better and better as the year moves on.
