So the South is 7-4 vs the north at this point. Next week theres only two matchups between N&S, and I'm giving them both to the south. AZ goes to Wazzy and ASU goes to Seattle and runs their streak on us to 9. So theres some good #PACROADWARRIORS picks for next week. Road teams went 2-3 this week.


I have no reason to believe we will beat an ASU team thats finding their stride. They looked good tonight in smacking around the Trees. For UW we all know our offense is woeful and now Oregon exposed our D. Maybe it was because they are all infatuated with Marsha Maryposa and they'll decide to play next week when they don't have to face the 'King of the islands'...

I wouldn't write yourselves off. ASU's defense is still perfectly capable of making a mediocre offense look terrific. I think ASU wins, but I'm far from comfortable with it.

I think the Kelly stuff was just some gamesmanship to make them do a little extra preparation for the run option, since we still can't run the ball that well with Berco. And if Berco got hurt, he might be able to play versus burn a freshman's RS. As soon as TK can go, he has to play, but having a backup that's better than most team's starter is a nice luxury.

And yeah, I agree on 5-1. I'd have been pretty pleased with that with Kelly playing, let alone the backup. Bad news is the games that I sort of thought were going to be likely wins look difficult now.

@Washington and then Utah before ND is far from a picnic.

All we need to do is scratch up one, maybe two more wins and get a bowl game, any bowl game, not as an accomplishment in itself but for the extra practice time and game experience for newbies. Valuable experience and then we start next year as a contender. If we can play as well as we did tonight, we'll beat somebody or somebody will help us as the Trees did. The good news there is that the remaining games in the South will be tough on all and I don't think any team is going to sweep. Go Devils! As far as ND is concerned, we shouldn't even play out starters. Its a meaningless OOC game against a top ten team. Take the money and run.
