Here's where I'll be spending my afternoon...

And given the game time forecast of clear skies and 75 degrees it's going to be another perfect day by the lake to take in that view and watch some college football.

Picking up friend in Kirkland at 1 pm and driving to stadium. When not tailgating in the main parking lot like today, I try to get sneaky and bypass that awful Montlake exit traffic by taking the arboretum exit first and parking in those free lots for the park and just doing the walk across the bridge. On a beautiful temp day like this, no problemo. Will try to do a walk through of the hall of champions to show off the Rose bowl and crystal football before the game.

We always tailgate in the main lot. In fact, we have our own parking that isn't actually in the lot, but is on the road by the exit. Just between the tennis courts and the main lot. Everyone who tailgates knows our bus. Really old school bus painted purple. We honk and chant the whole way in and do a full lap around the lots before going to our spot where we setup the food and drinks.

Enjoy your day there regent, should be a glorious afternoon even if the football will be a bit subdued.
