I was thinking that when I typed the comment. But WSU will always be able to hang their collective hat on the fact that Mike Leach is a Pirate. (Which is why I say that when he finally washes out at Washington State, I hope he lands at East Carolina.)

Mike McIntyre is a hell of a coach. he was Assistant Coach of the year at Duke, and certainly deserved some recognition for what he did at San Jose State. I expect Colorado to continue to improve as well.

Ya he has a Mtn to climb. But if they are patient, I could see a bowl game in the future

I didn't expect BC to win outright, but I did expect a close game if USC had beaten Stanford. It is so damned hard to go on the road after a huge win and maintain focus. Had USC beaten Stanford, I figure they would have rolled the Eagles.

Given that, if you are a Trojan, and you know you have to lose one of those games, I think you still take the Stanford win.

Well my predictions from before the season started are almost all either blown up or I just change my mind after seeing the teams play.

I don't want to be a downer. But I don't think a bye is going to matter with that injury.

Meh, game sucked. Our inexperienced o-line was confused by BC's defense most of the night and the defense was gassed.


This is the loss that we should have had last week against Stanford. BC played a great game on both sides of the ball. Hats off to them.
