Well his first pass against Fresno State should have been picked for a TD the guy stepped in front of it and just dropped it. I'm trying not to complain or bash him because i do like him more than at the beginning of last year but I'm always a realist. Nelson is the reason some of his passes get caught because he's justa better athelete than most DBs who are covering him. Same goes with Adoree and Juju. I just think it was an obvious fault that should have been addressed by now. He's a good kid and doing the best he can with his skills but this is something that can bite the team in the ass in a big game and it's fixable.

Most college qb's have a problem with locking in on a specific receiver and/or not looking defenders off. Some don't master it until they hit the NFL. It's something he'll continue to work on and developing more trust in the young guys and Farmer (who is finally healthy enough to play) should help his development in that regard.

Remember, it's only his 2nd season as a starter and he wasn't named the full-time starter until the 3rd or 4th game of last season. The coaches seem pleased with his progress, so I'm not too worried about it.......yet.

I hope so but I remember being in the stands watching young Lienart , young Sanchez and young Barkley with their heads going from one side of the field to the other many times. Out of the three Matt seemed to miss the wide open player the most but it did look like he did try at least.

Pretty much confirmed that CGD will be in Tallahassee next Sat for the Clemson @ FSU game. Sept20th.

If Wash takes better business of Illinios and Georgia St. than our last two OOC, they should be able to crack the top25 again with a 4-0 record. And that could setup well for CGD being at the Washington campus for the Stanford @ Washington game on Sept 27th. :hope:

I don't know about you all, but I'm looking forward to some college football tomorrow!

Just finished 6 days of work, including starting at a new job this week which always adds extra stress. Feel good about the situation, but I'm completely wiped out. Very much looking forward to ODing on college football tomorrow and BBQ at friends house with old high school friends in town. Sunday seahawks. Let the games begin.

Go DAWGS!!! Beat Illinois!!!

Go to bed.

Still up eh?

Can't sleep holmes. Tried to but failed so now I'm just sitting here up and shit.

I'm in Florida right now and tomorrow night I'm going to the FAU football game against Tulsa. Trying to visit as many stadiums as possible and while FAU isn't a powerhouse, it is their home opener so it should be tons of fun. It'll be the 12th different stadium I've visited.. and being in my early to mid 20's I'd call that a success.

List of schools' football stadiums I've visited:

UofA (duh, not counting them), ASSU, SDSU, BYU, USC, NAU (northern arizona university), Notre Dame, Colorado, Cal, FSU, Rutgers & UNM. Add FAU to that list folks :suds:

Still really, really want to head to Eugene and UDub and would like to eventually visit every Pac school.

Nice goal. It doesn't matter if they are powerhouses or not, I hope you have a good time collecting stadiums and game-day experiences. They are certainly wide and varied!
