Well his first pass against Fresno State should have been picked for a TD the guy stepped in front of it and just dropped it. I'm trying not to complain or bash him because i do like him more than at the beginning of last year but I'm always a realist. Nelson is the reason some of his passes get caught because he's justa better athelete than most DBs who are covering him. Same goes with Adoree and Juju. I just think it was an obvious fault that should have been addressed by now. He's a good kid and doing the best he can with his skills but this is something that can bite the team in the ass in a big game and it's fixable.
Most college qb's have a problem with locking in on a specific receiver and/or not looking defenders off. Some don't master it until they hit the NFL. It's something he'll continue to work on and developing more trust in the young guys and Farmer (who is finally healthy enough to play) should help his development in that regard.
Remember, it's only his 2nd season as a starter and he wasn't named the full-time starter until the 3rd or 4th game of last season. The coaches seem pleased with his progress, so I'm not too worried about it.......yet.

Go to bed.
Still up eh?
Nice goal. It doesn't matter if they are powerhouses or not, I hope you have a good time collecting stadiums and game-day experiences. They are certainly wide and varied!I'm in Florida right now and tomorrow night I'm going to the FAU football game against Tulsa. Trying to visit as many stadiums as possible and while FAU isn't a powerhouse, it is their home opener so it should be tons of fun. It'll be the 12th different stadium I've visited.. and being in my early to mid 20's I'd call that a success.
Amen. A clean PAC sweep tomorrow.
