In FL, so that's probably a $6 mil contract elsewhere at least.

Keep in mind that apparently teams are offering contracts of $5 mil/yr+ to Tyler Bozak. I guess that's what borderline 2nd/3rd liners go for now.

I'm hearing that Vancouver has interest in Tyler Bozak.

If I have to guess, he's going to the Avs. Lives there in the offseason, went to school there, they have a need at C. Unless they get Stastny back I figure that's where he'll end up.

Which is good news for Vancouver (and bad news for Flames fans) because Bozak is 32 and generally a bad hockey player who can put up a few points provided he is completely sheltered in his team's system and only on the ice for 8 seconds after the faceoff (because he wins faceoffs so is a character guy by default).

I’m fine with Johnson on like a one year deal for $3M...but he’s not gonna do that. Hunwick has better fancy stats than him. There has to be some movement from the Pens though, they have a billion wingers and not a lot of cap space. Sheary is the easy choice to move.
