I am not sure what kind of a starting pitching prospect you thought I had in mind,

Well, you said "upper level pitching depth", so I was going off that.

Unless you're talking AAA rotation depth... in which case, OK that I can see. I'm not sure we need that, but yeah, Moreland could bring that in return.

Yes, AA or AAA pitching prospect. We are a little thin on starting pitching depth in the upper levels, especially at AAA. That would serve as insurance in case of multiple pitching injuries.

Hard to say. I would hate to see him become a liability at some point. He has meant so much to the franchise that I don't want to see him end his career barely hanging on at some point. Maybe he will age like Julio Franco and we won't have to witness that.

This brings up the discussion we had on here once before. At some point Beltre, Prince and Choo are all going to have to DH it would seem. Or at least 2 of them would have to and another one could play 1B maybe.

This may spell the end of Prince. JD may be a little more persistent in trading him next off season. He probably floated the idea a while back. He should be more affordable in a year.

I wonder where we are going to be playing Joey Gallo when he is ready to come up. Seems like his arm would be wasted at 1B. If it is RF where his arm could be utilized then Choo would have to go. If he stays at 3B then Beltre would have to change positions, but something tells me Joey doesn't end up at 3B.
