Sounds like a blast.....
Replaced the defrost control sensor and heating element twice on my Jenn Air
Piece of shit is only 7 yrs old, and twice??.??

this one is only 6 years old.. the motor only cost $38.00 .. but its a throw away world

Yeah, I think I paid about $45.00 for parts.
Just a pain in the ass to do.
About a two hr. Job to defrost the coil, and get the new element in there.

Pisser is, I paid good money for the Jenn Air, but a cheap whirlpool I bought for the garage 7 yrs. Ago, has had no problems.

Better go knock on wood......

whirlpool makes most of them .. they make kenmore.. and sears charges about $ 150.00 dollars more for the same thing just because it says kenmore .. so I just buy whirlpool
