As to Ben's interception...classic example of throwing the ball to a place where the receiver is SUPPOSED to be, without checking to see who's actually there. Some would say "that's football," but I don't see it that way...not when you have a QB like Ben, who can buy the time to have a good look down the field.

And I don't think he was better when he was still chasing co-eds. Statistically, he's having a great season. But even a great QB fucks up now and then, or pays the price for a failure on the part of the O-line.

The longer we go without snow, the better..

Agreed. We've had flurries once or twice, but no real snow so far. That may change later this week, not that they're calling for anything serious.

I would like to go all the way to Christmas without snow (just before would be ok, a white Christmas is fine) so I could finish my work before snowplow season starts.

Yup, I still have wrok to do around the yard before the snow really flies. Just got the last of the leaves into the composter. I'd also like to get up on the roof and clean out the gutters and downspouts, and maybe seal the front porch roof. It's old sheet metal, and starting to leak. I have the sealant...just need the weather and the time.

Yeah leaks suck for sure. Do you cover the whole thing, or just patch the seams?

I've been blowing all my leaves onto my drainfield the last couple years, had it freeze up once. That sucks.
