One Sunday after noon clearly, while my team was feeling cheery,
There was a huge and largely forgotten chore,
As I sat there eating and lapping, lapping up food and laughing,
There came a fan I had not seen before,
'Tis some fan, I said, asking for beer, maybe more,
Only this, and nothing more

As I remember, back in November,
As the ravens were but a ghost in the north
I eagerly wished, and hoped with a frown
That at least second place was a raven
And not a brown

Now a Raven is playing the Steel Curtain,
And ONE thing, all of us are certain.
That these Ravens want just one more!
Quothe the Steelers, NEVER MORE!

Heat up Steel, and it grows stronger Tensile strength and getting longer,
To this fan I say, Sir your Hunger I wont ignore,
The fact that you came asking, while I was lapping,
As you arrive from Baltimore,
And in your heart you would but have to ask for more,
Merely this, and nothing more

Back to the grill I turn, so the brats, they dont burn
And again I hear the sound of a bird,
A rarity, her in the ;Burgh on a late January morn,
A bird of prey, that is to say,
A look he has, Tis so forlorn,
Tis just a bird, and nothing more.

Around I whirl and wield my putter,
Off with ye, and find your mother!
Begon, disobedient child of the wild,
As he perched upon my grill,
Perched as if frozen, still and mild,
Perched and sat, and nothing more.

An ebony bird, with a smile so beguiling, and to my fancy I was smiling
As I knew it soon would be heading home
As it;s journey surely was about to end,
AT Heinz Field, just around the bend,
As the raven spoke, we win on this shore.
Quothe the Steelers, Nevermore!

As I marvel at this fowl so plainly
And his look was so ungamely,
Whence you came? I asked so nicely,
He did rely, with a sad look in his eye,
Those hated words, Baltimore
So quothe the Steelers, Nevermore!

A lonely Raven, Flaccid and sore,
As if it were a penis, used by a whore.
Not a flutter, feathers so foul,
As I whipped him with my TERRIBLE TOWEL!
I asked said poor raven, when would you score?
And then he muttered, never more!

Startled by the candor of which he had spoken,
I soon realized the birdie was broken.
I doubted his master could say it any faster,
We go our buts kicked out the door
Said the poor bird, not up to the chore!
A win in the Burgh, I said, Nevermore!

I said to the Raven, all happy and smiling,
You played a great game, all tough and all heart.
You should be proud, even the old fart
But steamrolled you were, but men of STEEL
A wonder it is, that you can still feel,
NO more, quothe the rave, Nevermore!

No more expressing, no second-guessing,
These Zebras did a nice job of reffing!
And coaches they called a game extraordinaire,
Against that defense of ours, it just wasnt fair.
While Harrison and Woodley were all n their hair
The rest of the defense pounded the birds to the core,
And heard just a whimper,
Please, please, no, no more!

Prophet I heard, thine evil, you devil,
Those Steelers, those men, they pounded us to hell!
And when it was over the birds did implore:
Uncle, they called Uncle, NO MORE!
Quothe the STEELER, nevermore

Prophet, he called, thing of evil, were doomed,
Find a hole, I cried, and in it your head, hide!
With a soul full of sorrow, and a heart full of hate,
A bounty on us, you should now negate!
Or suffer you must, your decision of fate!
And win against us, nevermore

So be gone now and forever, you bird oh so foul,
And suffer the fate of others we have run to ground,
The Birds, the Bengal, and yes ask the hound.
And never forget, I said, waving my towel:
We are but one, and we am Super bowl bound!
One shot I gave poor Raven as he flew out the door,
No, not this year, in fact, never more!

here ya go North
