Took me longer than it should've to figure out that "Balmer" is Baltimore. Like "Nawlins" or "Nahfuck." My grandmother used to live not far from Baltimore. Do they still have that fantastic tall ship in the harbor? I used to have a picture of it, with the USF&G Building in the background, on my office wall.
