According to Scott Brown of ESPN, the Steelers haven't show interest in bringing back Brett Keisel even with the lack of depth currently on the line. Keisel could still be a good addition as a mentor and rotational player. Like most things, it may come down to money: "That is a great question, and so far the Steelers haven’t shown any inclination to bringing back Brett Keisel for one more season. Maybe they are waiting until after June 1 when they get salary-cap relief from releasing Woodley. Or maybe Keisel isn’t willing to play for the veteran’s minimum salary in 2014. I think the Steelers will draft two defensive linemen and that at least one of them will be an end. But given how thin they are at defensive end and how loathe they are to depend on a rookie at any position I think they should at least remain open to signing Keisel for another season. He doesn’t have to return as a starter and he could provide depth at the position as well as log snaps as a situational player. Plus he is a great locker room guy and very respected by his teammates. If the price is right, why not bring back Keisel with no promises of playing time or even of making the team?"
