In the 1st round this year I would be happy with just about anyone lol… Biggest areas of need IMO are CB, NT, WR, DE, LB (either OLB or ILB depending on where they see Moats fitting), TE, OT?, RB.

CB's: I'd be happy with either Dennard or Gilbert. Both are instant starters, and they need impact guys back there. Rostered: Allen, Taylor, Gay, McCain, Blake (We had around 8 CB's in camp last year). I could see PIT "double dipping" by taking 2 CB's in this draft. Blake & McCain are likely fighting for a ST spot.

NT: Nix is the only 1st rounder worth considering. As we all know it takes a very large man to anchor the 3-4 NT position. The only 3 guys I would consider after Nix are: Ellis (La Tech), Carrethers (Ark St), and McCullers (TEN). But those 3 guys could be landed in rounds 3-5, so obviously if they pass on Nix then these guys will be around.

WR: Watkins will be gone, but Evans & Benjamin should be around @15. If they don't land a big WR in the 1st, then expect them to target Allen Robinson (Penn St), Adams (Fresno St), Moncrief (Ole Miss), Jordan Mathews (Vandy), or Bryant (Clemson). All 5 of these guys will challenge Wheaton day 1 of camps.

DE: Not a lot of prospects fall around the 15 mark in the 1st round. Guys like Hageman (Minn), & Tuitt (ND) are targets for either late 1st round or early 2nd. They could easily land a guy like Martin (UNC) in the 3rd. Those are some of the top prospects that I like. But I'm really holding onto the thought that they finally push McLendon to the DE position where he is better fitted. Think of Heyward & McLendon as our DE's! That would be NASTY!

LB: ILB Mosley is the obvious target if they went this route. He is touted as the next Ray Lewis. He could provide stability to the inside where Farrior left his void. He is the only ILB worth considering as for the others are 3-5th round prospects. Barr & Mack will most likely be gone so OLB Van Noy (BYU) is a solid 2nd round prospect.

OT: Robinson & Mathews would be impossible to pass up, but they will be gone before 15. Lewan would be the only 1st rounder outside of those 2 worth the pick at 15. Hard to imagine PIT drafting another O-lineman this high when they already have 8 under contract next season (only dress 7 in games).

RB: DEFINITELY not for a 1st round pick… But they have a gaping hole for return specialists/ RB3 roles. Look for PIT to fill this void in later rounds (maybe rounds 4-6). FB Will Johnson could fill the RB3 but he is not a return guy. Wheaton will likely take KRs, but who else?

TE: Ebron is an instant impact starter, and would be a solid pick at 15. He had a bad pro day which raised eyebrows, but I'm not concerned. He's a playmaker, and PIT is in need on one on offense. Not to mention Miller is the only other solidified TE on the roster. Spaeth is good for one thing, blocking… The Paulsen experiment is not likely to pan out, and David Johnson left for San Diego… So TE could very well be on the radar!

Howdy, Face. Slow day at werk. Thought about playing golf, but decided to wait a day or two. Courses are soggy from rain earlier this week.

Uncooperative weather has been my problem, MS. I normally play thru the winter, despite the cold, if the ground is free of snow and relatively dry. But this winter, we had snow almost constantly, and on those rare occasions when it thawed, it rained.

I played on the Saturday after Christmas, and that was it, until March 31st, when I played 9 soggy holes on foot.

Now it's getting better. Hoping to play Friday...we'll keep a good thought.

Like I said, I'm keeping a good thought. Weather is definitely improving, though this is the latest Spring I can remember.
