This time of year when there is a lot going on during the traditional "lull" in the fall sports, some people start making things up to make a name for themselves and to stir the pot. It occurred just last week in NBA basketball involving a supposed trade between the Lakers and the Suns by some newbie in the media that turned out to be totally fabricated. This supposed Jets trade could be something similar. If it is legitimate, I am with the prevailing sentiment that it would be a krappy trade for the Flyers. I am inclined to believe it is phoney.

It very well be a fabrication but we still need a left winger to replace Harts and putting Schenn on the left wing where he is not that good makes me wonder why put him on the wing when we could try to get an actual left wing in Kane for him.

I did hear that Patricia Kane was in town. I have not seen him out or any negative news recently.. Hopefully the kid grows up. I guess tons of money and beautiful women will do that at a young age.

FYI

The Flyers will be featured on national television 16 times during next season.
At least 12 games will be featured on NBC Sports Network, while up to four will appear on NBC.

Gotta ask, what's wrong with Kane? Price tag is a bit high but putting Simmonds - Giroux - Kane on the same line would be EPIC!

you've got it there. except you can take the 'a bit' part out. Kane is good, and full of potential, but he's essentially a little more developed and faster Brayden Schenn. To give up more that Brayden Schenn is silly, and from all accounts, the Jets are looking for Schenn, a dman, and a 1st. That's just so far off of what I'd give up for Kane it's not worth it to pursue.
