Quite possibly. From what I had seen, Texas wasn't even a consideration, and nobody was recruiting him......then this happens.

To LSU and Bama fans...Hootie Jones has announced a decision date of November 15th.

I've heard that Alabama maybe has a slight edge over LSU right now, but Andrew Bone had this to say..."I know someone who visited with Jones yesterday. They told me that he is absolutely torn between Alabama and LSU right now."

We'll see what happens, hopefully for our sake he decides to come play with big Cam Robinson and Cameron Sims. We also just signed another guy originally from LA, Ronnie Clark, maybe that will help.

Numbers are getting slim, only a few spots left, but a few guys I know for a fact have a spot on this team....Hootie Jones, CJ Hampton, Matt Elam, Marlon Humphrey. I hope we land these 4 beast.

Changed the date to Dec. 2nd.

Coming to LSU on Nov 23rd for the aTm game...

Would be cool to finish this class with the #1 Center, #1 OT, #1 RB, and #1 DE.

He has already proven to be smart enough to get out of his home state, and it is the greatest university in the world (even if the football team and coach suck)

Well school pride is a thing of beauty.


As far as leaving the state, best of luck to him. He is a humble good guy with a promising future. I wish that he would have come to Virginia Tech but we get ours and certainly are not hurting on the defensive side of the ball, so we will survive.

From what I've read.....Hand is considering an academic major in Sports Management, and Alabama apparently does not offer that particular major as an undergrad degree, whereas Michigan supposedly has a very good Sports Management undergrad program.
