YO, Auburn, what's the word on Andrew Williams?

He signed with us.

I am not sure I want WITTEK at Texas.
He was a very highly recruited player at QB once upon a time, but he never really showed anything at USC.


ASH will be the guy for one season which is fine. Ash is more than capable.
Swopes is the near future superstar who supposedly will be the man.
They just got Jerrod today on signing day to add depth.
Overstreet looks like he will play converted linebacker duty.


If they pull in Wittek, one of those guys will bail.
It would most likely be Swopes who would transfer if Texas brought in Wittek.
Swopes has way too much upside to brush aside for some USC castoff.


It seems a bit risky.




I am not sure Wittek is worth losing Swopes.

Fair points. Only reason imo they would bring him in, is if behind the scenes they know something we don't about Ash. From what I am hearing Ash will be back. However, if they have doubts - then Wittek could definitely be used and we can redshirt Heard or Swoopes.

The more QB competition the better. I don't CARE if we lose Swoopes......so what? It means he wasn't good enough to play at Texas.

We want the best talent available.......not sparing some kids feelings. Did you see the Strong Presser yesterday? It was EPIC. My favorite quotes.....

"If a freshman plays over you, that's your fault"
