Tall and fast, just what we needed opposite CJ.

I had a lot of other WRs I liked more, but he certainly fits the bill...

Ugh, Swope was at least 2 rounds ahead of this kid.

Really sucking wind now. At least they addressed a need.

FUller was a sprinter and long jumper in college. He is fast and can jump. Hands are questionable however. I, by far, prefer reliable hands over speed.

Where do we still have holes to fill? We need another OLB to compete for the last roster spot there. We need a 4th DT. A 4th OT. Need a 3rd TE. A 4th RB (a HB/FB hybrid would be nice). That's about it for needs, I think. Then it's about upgrading back-ups with a better player.

According to the analysts. Clearly scouts weren't as enamored with Swope as we are...

:agree:

Call me crazy, but I actually want WRs that can catch. No sense running past everyone and getting wide open only to drop the ball when it is thrown to him.

I guess the Lions have a 1 white WR limit.

Glad to see the draft had depth. Then again, it seems that almost every team is Superbowl bound after the draft is done. A little while later, reality sets in.

Swope is now gone to Cards. I am sure they could not get to the podium fast enough

you can work on hands, you cant work on size and speed. This guy will stretch the field on single coverage.

My guess is the concussions were an issue. I can see us being gun shy with a player like that so I can understand why they passed on him though

FYI, Swope had better numbers than Fuller. Actually had faster times.

I think we are really missing the boat in the second half of the draft. Don't get me wrong, its not terrible. It just is not as good as it should be. A Punter who had 1 good year in the 5th round though will get terrible grades for sure.
