Immortal
Now I'm getting all nostalgic en sech
Their hot sauce doesn't come in packets. It's homemade and comes in those cups with lids. They have Green or Red.
Same with their pico de gallo. Just ask for it if you're in the drive thru. They'll hook you up. Family owned business so they bust ass.
They don't speak real good English, so put your Spanish filter on.
This sounds like D'Leons in Lincoln. And this is a good thing.
Holy shit. Abelardo's is my favorite place to eat in Omaha. Hector's is probably my favorite sit-down Mexican place, but we've been going to Abelardo's since high school...excellent food and pretty cheap too. They actually opened another one north of 108th and Q in the same strip mall area that the Valentino's buffet is. It's still a hole in the wall, but it's a little bit nicer than the old Taco Bell that the 90th and Maple one is in.
Also if you want to relive your UNL experience, there is now a D'Leon's in Omaha on 114th just south of Dodge.
Super Taco on 56th and Holdrege = Best Taco.
My favorite is Guaca Maya Mexican Restaurant, over behind the Stockyard Plaza. Their lunch buffet is simply amazing.
Howard's -Omaha's Original Mexican Restaurant
Well maybe not original but has to be close. SOuth 13th St. Used to be on 24th & Q before 24th & Q was little mexico.
Went there for the green chili and margaritas before I was legal.
I've been told by a couple Hispanic folks that this is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in the town.
Still haven't tried it yet, but we're going to for sure.
Do I need to wear a bullet proof vest to eat thar?
Do I need to wear a bullet proof vest to eat thar?
Did you go to Abelardo's last night?
I don't know. Did you wear a bulllet proof vest to Rosenblatt? Right down the road from Rosenblatt and the zoo. Before Howard's it was Marchio's,a little Italy steak house. IRS shut them down. Probably back then your answer would of been a yes.
