As long as you are not working in Tekamah, you would probably do ok. Anywhere north of there gets rather dumpy and shady. Lived in Tekamah for 9 years, glad to be the f*ck out though. Nicely situated between South Sioux and Omaha, though.

I worked in Dakota City ---nice town
Tekamah is a nice town
now I have worked in Winnebago ---the indians shove sticks down manhole pick holes --LOL !! crazy little fellars
I like Oakland and Craig as well
I work all over Nebraska --- my most favorite territory of all the state is the Scotts Bluff area

I wonder how the guys back in that 1982 class would have been rated. Kerry Trotter, Ron Kellogg, Vic Lazaretti, Dave Hoppen, and Bill Jackman, were all highly sought after D-1 players. And Steve Stepanivich from Plattsmouth in 1980 as well.
All had more than decent careers in college.

the town is just nice with a great place ta eat on the north end of town
the town is full of great people
and a great spring time blossom of trees
next to the river
real close to SC
aaand we clean thar sewer system once a year

Caught about 40 perch in a day and a half of fishing with some bass mixed in here or there. Fish fry Saturday and I can honestly say it was some of the best fish I've ever had.
