Did Washington get busted for weed last night?

With Dedrick Mills on campus, Rahmir Johnson coming, and the current running backs that are doing the right things and not being in trouble, I would have to either put Maurice Washington on a six game suspension or boot him from the team.

A normal student would NOT be allowed the leeway he is getting from a child pornography charge and now a very minor drug paraphernalia but added together equals dumbshit.

I remember being cut off from a local bookie back in the mid-90's.

I'd only bet during the college football season.

I took him for $400 four weeks in a row from the start of the season. I was betting from a group of teams (mid-majors) as dogs and Vegas hadn't really gotten a good handle on their lines yet. Anyway, after the 4th week I walked in to collect. He slapped his hand (palm down) on the bar, slid me my money, and said "I can't take any more action from you".
It was not a bar I was a regular at, so that may have had something to do with getting cut off from betting there. One of my friends who was a regular there had gotten me in. No biggie, bookies out of bars were a dime-a-dozen and I got action elsewhere.

I stopped betting football when I had kids.

Council Bluffs will be adding sports betting to their simulcast horse and dog races, but only pro sports.
I rarely bet pro sports back in the day anyway. Just college.

If CB were to allow college betting, I'd take the overs on Nebraska football's future at 8 games just to have a lil' fun, but wouldn't be a regular weekly bettor. Shit gives me too much anxiety.

If I go to the casino (maybe twice a year) I only play craps. That is because I can bet with or against the house.
Watch the table for about 10 minutes and watch how many chips people got. If it's a quiet table and not very many chips in front of people than bet with the house (against the shooter). If it's a loud table and plenty of chips in front of people than bet the shooters. Cold table/Hot table.

Note: If you're betting against the shooters, don't cheer when you win. Just keep your mouth shut and put the majority of your chips in your pocket. It's the shooters money you're taking and they don't like it so much.

I've dealt blackjack at a few bachelor parties and made a mint for the soon-to-be groom. LOL

Since we are talking football betting........

I lived in Reno during the 1983 - 1985 seasons but was a poor person, so my football betting was limited to $11 on Nebraska to win and cover. I also played 0.25 cents craps and learned the game and drank a lot of beer. For $20 on a Friday night I could drink way more beer than my $20 and learned craps.

Being in Las Vegas from December 15 to January 2 is heaven for college football bettors. You can bet college football and pro football, and if you are any good, you win.

I flew to Las Vegas for betting for about 20 years, I quit going to Vegas because it is just too expensive and the comps dried up. Sure, I had free rooms, free booze, and free food, but once 2008 hit, the bean counters took over and really messed with the comps. 1.5 years ago I took my wife and son out on my last $4,000 in comps I had and used it up. We had some fine food, some fine booze, I treated sports book personnel to dinner from the nicest restaurant, and bid adieu.

Now, you know a little more about me. I like to drink and gamble, but I do not smoke.

i had a buddy who built a sophisticated model with a reasonable EV similar to the article but he never put it into action. He probably didn't even know about the stuff they were talking about in the article (casinos that would stop taking bets from people or limiting bets), or maybe he did and that's why he never did it.

I bet some sports while in Vegas last time. anxiety didn't really bother me, it was just to have a reason to watch a game and actually cheer. first night i needed Golden State to win the last game of the night to pull off a 4 game parlay i did, me and some buddies were cheering pretty hard as i would have gotten like $200 on a $10 bet (or something like that, i don't remember the exact numbers), but they lost. disappointing but didn't really bother me since the bet was so low.

my first bet was against ND straight up. won 45 after betting 50. then i bet 50 on someone else and lost and realized i was down 5 bucks... that sucked
