After the hail storm Monday night/Tuesday morning all the lawns in my neighborhood were covered with leaves from the trees. Well yesterday my neighbor raked their lawn and literally raked all of the leaves into the street!


Did I miss something? Is the city coming by and collecting all the leaves from the street? If it's illegal to shovel your snow into the street, then I'm pretty sure it's illegal to rake all your leaves into the street.

Does this idiot not realize that all he's done is create more work for somebody else once all his leaves blow into their yard?

yea, similar story here with a bunch of leaves down, but i haven't seen anyone attempt that one yet.

Where I live you literally do rake them into the street and the city comes by and vacuums them up and takes them to the recycle center.
Trim your trees? Just put the branches on the curb and they come by with a big claw arm in the back of a truck and take them to the recycle center. Trash pick up on Monday. If they see yard waste they send a truck on Tuesday.
Hell I cut 8 15 foot crepe myrtles back and lined them up down the curb one weekend last year. Tuesday afternoon all gone.
And trash pick up twice a week. All with my $48 a year city tax. Oh and that penny that goes to the city from the sales tax of each dollar from the two counties shopping the Walmart in town here.

For those of you who are incapable of wrapping your feeble brains around the fact that someone can be a fan of Nebraska and Creighton at the same time, today a saw a truck with both Husker and hawkeye decals, with a license plate that read "HSKRHWK."

For those of you who are incapable of wrapping your feeble brains around the fact that someone can be a fan of Nebraska and Creighton at the same time, today a saw a truck with both Husker and hawkeye decals, with a license plate that read "HSKRHWK."

ha, i think i saw that same truck awhile back. or it was awfully similar. my best guess was that a husker and hawkeye fan probably got married and it was a compromise between the two people, but that's just a guess.
