Granddaughters are coming over to visit for a couple of days. Probably Tuesday I'm gonna head over to Lake Anita for my maiden voyage this season.

I'll probably fish every day after Tuesday. I turn 55 on Friday and I'm not sure how much longer I'll be around to fish....

Is it just me or is this UCF claiming a Natty thing starting to get a little weird?

Maybe what’s more weird to me is all the Husker fans going to bat for them. Like it’s our Natty or something.....but it’s not even a Natty......and we didn’t win the game....

I admire the AD for paying out the bonuses to the staff even though they’re leaving. The rest of it is getting kinda weird to me though. What a season it was, but in order to be National Champz you actually have to win the game that designates you as National Champz.

No, the more Auburn gets kicked in the dick over this the better, they pay out a huge amount of cash for thier roster literally to get beat by a UCF squad I say more power to them. The AP system was better than we have now. This next “championship” game on Monday will mark only the second in my life I’ve refused to watch, the first was LSU vs Bama v2.0

I don’t think Auburn is really getting kicked in the dick over this though.

Mostly Husker fans and UCF fans are on board and the rest of the nation is kinda shaking their heads. It’s supposed to be an attempt to kick the committee in the dick, but I don’t think it’s working.

I will say this, for me personally, I was on the fence about moving the playoff to 8 teams.....but now I’m pretty sure they should do that. If a team like UCF went in as the 8 seed and beat the #1 seed, then there you have it......they definitely deserve to be in the playoffs.

I agree in principal it’s petty for them to claim it but they’ll never ever have a season like they just did, they deserve some street cred for beating the only team who beat down this years group of 10 random dudes National Tiltle trophy winner
