See, I disagree.

I think any team can win 9 games. I just think that most teams fail to do it when they lose a few games and their coaching staff is not good enough to get them back on track.

To me, a mediocre team is a 9 win team. A lot of 9 wins teams out there are no better than a lot of 7 win teams out there.

It's not that cut and dried.

Sure there are mid-major teams that are "mediocre' with 9 wins, but BCS level teams are above "mediocre" with 9 wins.

Heck, Iowa was 8-5 but was better than "mediocre".

Their losses were to #3 Michigan St (13-1), #10 Ohio St (12-2), #14 LSU (10-3), #21 Wisconsin (9-4), and NR Also rcving votes Northern Illinois (12-2).

I see him doing it eventually, but I don't see it being 2014. I think it may happen in 2015.......if Abdullah was only going to be a Junior this next year I would pretty much guarantee it, but I do think it may happen in 2015 regardless.
