Coming in for the game this weekend and am looking for the best pork tenderloin Sandwich in the area. Omaha, council bluffs, Lincoln. I don't care. I get a diet cheat day and have been craving a tenderloin sammich for a month.

My son and I used to bike that railroad trail that runs from Maryville Missouri to Council Bluffs Iowa and there is a bar restaurant in Silver City I believe it was that had an absolutely fabulous pork tenderloin sandwich it was worth the ride just to have that. Of course that was 20 years ago, so nope I don't know

do ye ever think railroad wood gets too rotten?

@iruletheskool next time ye in Lincoln..go to Galloway ave. there is a walking trail that goes over 14th just south of old cheney. follow that trail south. once the trail ends...keep walking in the grass...another dirt trail will open up. go down thee hill, cross the active railroad, and go back up thee hill. that used to be a railroad bridge. keep walking. then you will get to a bridge...cross that bridge and see if you fall down...note..those railroads haven't been used in 50 years

thanks!

And how would that satisfy my month long craving for a pork tenderloin sandwich?

On a more somber note, I lost a brother yesterday. Not a brother in blood, but a brother who I knew, played ball with and graduated from Boys Town with back in '81. I cried when I heard, and that surprised me. We are friends but never have been real close. We have talked many times over the last several years and were able to meet again at Boys Towns semi annual alumni reunion back in 2011.
He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs Desease, ALS, a couple of years ago. He spent his last month's in a nursing home. I kept telling myself that I would get down there to see him later.

RIP #62
