its 200 pages long .. and the lawyers have to make sure all the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed and all the verbage is correct

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE before any vote was taken

I have been through plenty of strikes .. and when they are this close the deal will get done.. I dont blame the players .. its all posturing right now .. once the lawyers are done .. and they want to take a vote.. the other lawsuits will get droped

I am as anti player as one can get,,,,If I was an owner this would have been over long ago I would have wrote it up with what I would give them send them all a copy give them a deadline,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,without a contract they are all unemployed,,,,,those that wanted to remain in the NFL could come back no hard feelings the rest could twist in the wind

if you have been reading the papers and listening to the news .. this isnt on smith .. the players laid the frame work and the owners drew it up .. and the players are not alowed in the room when the owners are taking their vote to radify .. they could have changed stuff before handing it to the players union .. thus the players lawyers come into play now ...

smith should have a copy of what they agreed on,,,it's a simple matter of compairing their copy to what was voted on by the owners,,,I hear it's 200 pages I could compare them over night,,,and I am no over priced lawyer,,,for that fact I believe any of us could compare them and do it over night

But the owners are the ones who finance everything.

That, I think is the problem - they're entertainers - well paid entertainers, who are trying to came across as "workers" being horribly oppressed.

Yes, I know they never said that, but to me that's the image they're trying to project - IMO.

I'm not buying.
Get to camp on time or don't - ever.

Agreed, but...........
They are employees, and have no right to tell the owners how to run their business.A NFL with scabs, would most likely be very boring, but the players don't have to play if the current offer on the table is not to their liking.
