Well, I'm almost done with work, and my golf league is this afternoon. But Lord, is it hot! Already 94, with 60% humidity, and it may hit 100 by late afternoon.

Glad to hear y'all are finally getting some relief. Speaking of relief, I was playing 9 holes by myself last night, just to get some practice in, on a course that's a little tougher than the one my league plays. The heat was awful. Anyway, I'm on the #7 tee, a little 120-yd par-3 over a pond, when the sprinklers went off...in the middle of my backswing!

The bad news: I got drenched, and hacked the shot into the pond.

The good news: it was damn refreshing!

True, but the tee box was still being soaked. Lord only knew how long the sprinklers would stay on, so I just went to the drop area.
