Really....wasn't winding complaining about this kid?

Hey, when Nadel say's he's good to go, I'm going with him.

Don't remember about Martinez but I know he isn't a fan of Rios

I wouldn't say grief, but I just don't see how he fits into the future. No need to worry about that now I guess. I did say he needed to work on his command because he doesn't have overwhelming stuff.

Probably used a poor choice of words.

Hey, someone more attuned than me said......you always need 8-10 starters. I've actually come to totally appreciate and agree with this assessment.

I don't know exactly where he fits.....but he fits with the overall scheme IMO.

Plus's I take from this game:

1. Martinez solid in relief-an area we need help with
2. Martin's Defense
3. Cheerios being aggressive behind the plate and making a great throw- one wasn't so hot but I like him throwing down to first.
4. Yu got on of his worst starts of the year behind him. Wonder why the A's give him so much trouble.

I didn't have a good feeling about this one, Yu's performance against the A's has been pretty bad though he escaped the loss in Oakland. Gray has good stuff and when he is on can dominate, he was on tonight.

We need to get Choo back soon and Fielder needs to be dropped in the order, though I don't know who you move where

First, your points 1-3 are right on.....Second, point # 4 is......the A's make him work beyond his scope and he's gotta overcome this or else we're screwed - long term in the division - or else maybe he drops back into a good not great starter category.

If Yu can't defeat the team you have to beat, then you'll never be the man we can depend on, nor the man you came over here to be. Or were you just talking shit?

It's that simple to me.

one of these day it would cool to just see all the fast guys hit in a row- Choo, Andrus, Rios, and Martin… but this has probably already happened this season when/if Martin has batted 9th. Honestly, I think if you move Martin up in the lineup to more of a production role, his AVG will drop. I just don't know if thats a role he can fill, he is more of a table setter. Be awesome if he could do both though.

We'd do that and watch him start slumping :noidea:

He is injured right now they are talking about sending him to the DL, we have enough injury concerns right now
