If both these matches end at 2-0 then I think the tiebreak between Poland and Mexico is fair play points and if that’s tied a random draw. I’d love to see a FIFA random draw.

If both these matches end at 2-0 then I think the tiebreak between Poland and Mexico is fair play points and if that’s tied a random draw. I’d love to see a FIFA random draw.

They just announced that Poland would advance on fair play points if things stay the way they currently are.

Didn't seem like they knew the exact difference. I wonder if a single yellow by Poland would be enough to level or flip it?

I think Poland would need three yellows or a player getting his second yellow in the match and no more Mexican cards to level things out. Or a straight red to Poland and another yellow to Mexico will do it as well.

They had a random draw at Italia 90 although it was to see who would finish 2nd and 3rd in a group and both teams still went through (ireland and Holland I think).

I believe if Mexico and Poland had been playing each other and fair play points and everything else was tied, they'd have had a penalty shoot-out.
