In short Amorim convinced a bunch of players not to leave in the summer as they wanted to take a stab at the Champions League and a league repeat, those players are now pissed, his release clause has a 30 day waiting period cooked in so Sporting are holding United ransom for more money to negate that and Amorim is kinda all over the place in the media.

3 - this was more exciting to watch than all of Man United season together
