Sunderland and Swansea sack their respective managers overnight - The Swansea sacking is interesting as they decided not to re-sign Russell Martin which allowed Southampton to swoop in and nab him. After a shaky run of form early, the Saints have gone 11 games without a loss and are trying to get one of those two automatic promotion sports in the Championship (still lots of football remaining). As for Sunderland, they are only three points out of the playoffs currently so the decision to sack their manager is a little strange.
