I know very few people care about the Cariboo Cup, but Ipswich Town is having a great start in the Championship and beat Premier side Wolverhampton last night. It's been a little over 20 years since the Tractor Boys were in the Premier League and they look like they have a good shot for promotion to return to the top flight of English football.

Tottenham just shocked Liverpool. Spurs scored with only 9 men at 5 and a half (of 6) minutes of added time.

I didn't see the game, but the reaction on social media is that Liverpool were robbed. The main gripe is that when you slow things down via VAR, a 50-50 tackle can look a lot worse in slo-motion.

The thing that very few people are talking about regarding the VAR error in the Tottenham - Liverpool game is why the linesman even raised his flag in the first place. I've always been under the belief that unless you're absolutely sure the player is offside, you keep the flag down. If that linesman thought Diaz was offside, then he should be under review along with VAR.
