I watched last night - there were some decent chances and they did manage to shut out a Costa Rican team that was playing in the World Cup QF's just a year ago and nearly went further.

Looked like some bad luck (how that one set piece didn't manage to be put in is mind-boggling) and poor shot selection doomed them more than anything.

I will say this, I thought that was Canada's best game last night (they got better with each game in the tourney). If Haber doesn't go offside on the set piece, Canada might still be in the tourney. Oh well.

Had a really good season last year. 8 million pound release clause? Considering he signed his latest deal in January in the midst of a great season (on a terrible team at the time, but...) that's some pretty shitty management, especially considering that he's a homegrown player.

Annnnnnd scratch that - backed out of the deal last minute. Guess City couldn't guarantee him starts.

Frankly think Arsenal would be a great fit. I think he's become one of England's better mids (which isn't saying much but...).
