good, bad or indifferent? -----------^
Just typical of Canadian soccer is my reaction, fully get things turned around in headed in the right direction with Zambrano, the men's team is playing an entertaining brand of football and it's not enough to mess up one team, but they go ahead and mess up two clubs. I guess we'll wait and see if Herdman has any magic left, however one big difference is he doesn't have a Christine Sinclair equivalent on the men's squad.
2 things
Alledgedly ... Zambrano was over his head ... some questionable "scouting" trips and people are now saying he basically told the players at the gold cup "go play" ... no tacticsso maybe someone more polished/accomplished in a national team setting would be better. Might as well make the change now with next round of qualifying coming
BUT
Is herdman the guy??? Never having coached a pro mens team ever???
The csa knows him and administratively he will know what is expected and reasonable but will he be able to make this transition? Ive seen people say its misogynistic to ask that question but i think it should be a concern
