Ronaldo scores to become the first ever player to score in all 6 CL group stage games.

Neymar could've been the first but failed to score yesterday vs. Bayern. Ron does it vs. Dortmund.

Neymar had some chances in that game yesterday as well.

Expected weather tomorrow at 4 pm (damn early start times! So unfair!): Windchill of -9, up to 3 cm's of snow could fall in the afternoon.

But they really needed that two week break in the middle of the damn playoffs, right? It was 10 degrees and sunny all last weekend lol

Can't wait for the Giovinco free kick where he clears the wall, but not the snow drift.

Could be worse - they're expecting 8" of snow in NW England on Sunday and both the Manchester and Merseyside Derbies might get called off.

That was a one-sided game, glad TFC got the second goal as they totally dominated the Sounders.

210 minutes of MLS Cup Final play without conceding a goal. Should have two trophies but getting that one last night was fun.

First team Leiweke set straight to get a ring. Hopefully at least one more by the end of June :D

Question: why is this a one game playoff when the early rounds are home and home series?

    Congrats to TFC

Follows the European model, although the logic behind the Champions League Final being single-legged is that the venue is neutral thus negating any advantage (which is the logic behind the home and away legs in every other knockout round).

MLS Cup used to be at neutral venues but once they realized they just don't have the support to attract enough of a travelling fanbase they just started giving hosting duties to the team with the most points.

Should be noted though that Copa Libertadores (South America's "Champions League") use two-legged finals and MLS probably should too.

LVG's troll game is quite strong...

“I would rather watch City than United,” said the Dutchman.” You need quality in a squad and it’s clear City have a better squad. If you ask me how did I do at United, I will say it was my best year ever, given the circumstances I was working under. We played football that was quite all right. But it’s not football that is appreciated in England. And yet, right now, looking at United, I have to conclude Mourinho is not being criticised while it’s far more boring football.

Louis Van Gaal lays into Jose Mourinho for 'boring football'

Man, some top European clubs could get eliminated in the round of 16...

Porto ducked some big teams. Liverpool can destroy offensively but also can't defend worth a fig. Someone's winning that tie 5-4 I just have no idea who.

    Barca-Chelsea is always drama!

Roma could've drawn either Real, Bayern or Waxtap and somehow got lucky and got Waxtap. Better not waste the opportunity.

Not even at the half way mark, United currently has the same goal differential that Van Gaal's best United had at the end of the season. They're 26 goals shy of matching his best goals for mark and at their current pace they'd pass it by 24 goals.

If this United is boring, his was insufferable.

Edit: This article sums it up even better: Van Gaal dubs Mourinho 'boring' but ex-United boss guilty of dreary football
