Seriously though, for such a small country to get to four semi's in five tournaments is amazing itself. Be nice to finally win one though.

Okay BBB, jstew, and anyone else who cares to chime in - Claude Puel is the Saints new manager. Thoughts? Good hire? Bad hire? It's Southampton, who cares?

Got his team to a Nice finish last season in France.

I like him more than I liked Koeman when he took over there. Saints should be alright assuming they don't get decimated in the transfer market and buy wisely as always.

Also worth a mention that while Fonte wasn't as solid as he was vs. Cro, Cedric Soares had a killer game after his error led to the Polish goal. Another performance like that and Southampton might be cashing in on him too.
