The Croatians talk more shit than anybody. In 2008 our Croatian friends were still bragging about beating Italy in that joke of a game in 2002.

This is hilarious - I have one paesan who is utterly crestfallen and another who is happy because "I'd rather lose to Spain than fucking Croatia".

FWIW, the only game Spain was scary offensively was vs. a shambolic Turkey. Italy's defence has been the best in the games thus far and are going to be rested tomorrow giving them a full ten days between games. As long as they keep match fit I wouldn't bet against them.

They really should've just re-seeded the teams for the knockout stage. Would've made things a lot more fair with all these 3rd place teams lying around.
