And I'm guessing that was for the World Cup which means more of the American commentariat were a little more invested in it.

But yeah if you do I'm definitely in. Now that we're a month off I'm starting to get pretty excited for it.

i just checked and the euro 2012 pool had 13 entries and the 2014 wordl cup pool had 7 ... Sad! (donald trump - lol)

yah Im excited for it too ... i was in kelowna in late april and asked the owner of the italian cafe shop outside the Delta Grand if he was gonna do outdoor viewing parties for the italy games (cause Ill rpob be up there in that timeframe) and he said " damn straight ... unless these mangiacakes from the city try crawling up my ass about it " lol

In 2014 England-Italy coincided with Taste of Little Italy here. Whole street shut down, screens everywhere, chairs put out in the middle of the road, the tenders from the area restaurants bringing drinks to people watching. There must've been at least 5000 people around for that. It was awesome.
