It's Matchday 1 and TSN is already 5000x better at covering this tournament than SN ever was. Thank god for that.

It's a business. If he wants to go back, agrees a contract with a team and that team is willing to pay what MLS is asking then what are MLS supposed to do?

He's way too good for this league and that's been evident all season. If he took a 2 month break after the season ends and then signed for Fiorentina or Napoli or whomever I wouldn't hold it against him at all and I don't think many would.

I agree but the folks at the MLS offices are different cats lol ... I think they would worry about the "brand" and fight this ... thats how stupid they are
