The NBA Is Getting Ready To Test For HGH

According to Mark Cuban, the NBA is looking to ways to test for hgh and might be ready beginning this season. Even though the major league sports are still a few years away, they are closing in on the time when no athlete will be able to hide anything.

It is pretty simple, keep blood samples for current and future testing.

Even though it may not be able to he tested for now eventually it will be.

The one catch would be if a player uses something and it was not illegal yet how will it b handled.

Nobody actually wants to test for hgh because the negative effects are non existent if using a reasonable amount and to play at that elite level for so many games almost necessary.

This also tells me it is really prevelant.

I'm betting anything if they test this year, you won't see any major stars get caught. We all know LeBron is using but the only people that will get caught will be Fischer.

it's not that simple with HGH guys. HGH has a half life of roughly 45 minutes in blood. Which means it doesnt last long inside the blood and you almost need to test someone the same day they use it to get a positive blood test. it honestly is the perfect PED to use. To catch someone on it through blood is nearly impossible. im not sure this problem can ever be solved due to the short half life.

You do not test for the actual drug you test the blood for abnormal hormone levels against a baseline blood sample or history of blood samples. Hormone levels will be abnormal for about 4 weeks with a 99%+ accuracy.

Still leaves a loophole of business hgh etc for your baseline reading if that would work.
