While I agree, nobody is a bigger whiny bitch than Embiid. Go back and watch that game, Embiid gets every single call and Towns gets nothing, sometimes not even obviously blatant calls.

No, ref bitching when your team loses is suspect because it lends to the assumption that the person feels they lost because of the refs. The appropriate time to bitch about refs is after your team still won and you can go back and be objective without emotions blocking your judgement. Also, we are 20 games in and this is the first mention I have made about refs. Perhaps it is because despite many poor calls for and against my team, I am not a ref bitcher in general. Last night's game was egregious however and needs to be mentioned.

They are .500 when Embiid has missed half of the games, he was back for this one. I think that game was a solid test for the wolves.

I have changed my mind on this one. No doubt Simmons is better than any of those players at his peak, but I am not convinced he sees his peak again. Between Russell being much better and Simmons showing signs that he is a shell of himself I don't know if trading the future is a worthwhile gamble at this point.

The main appeal of Simmons was adding his elite defense to one of the worst defenses in the league, but Wolves have actually been a top 10 defense this year. That might be the most shocking thing of the season so far. We will see if it lasts without Beverly for 2 weeks.

Minnesota would be the ideal destination for him IMO. He just needs to get out of that pressure cooker in Philly and I think he will be just fine.
