Your graph's data it two years old.

I'd wait to get 2015's results as a whole. You see, people tend to go to more games in June, July and August when kids are out of school and the weather is nicer than they do in April and May. With the new wild card format, more teams are in it in September, so attendance will likely rise then too.

What I've read is that attendance this year is trending up.

'10 73.1m,'11 73.4m,'12 73.9m,'13 74m, '14 73.7m, '15 pace 400k above '14....which would put them at 74.1m

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how PED testing would have a greater effect on MLB attendance than a financial recession.

The recession in '07 wasn't the first recession to happen in the history of the game. the financial recession was just as large if not larger in the early 80's and attendance increased with only 1 season drop noticed, '81 strike.

Financial recessions haven't affected baseball very much at all, when all the baby boomer die (which is currently happening) then watch out for attendance to drop. That will be baseball's recession.

Now you're an economist?

I'm angry at numbers, can you help me here:

Which is greater 74.1MM or 73.7MM?

Your right, baseball attendance has been rising for years, lol, my bad

Baseball's been adrift ever since Barry Bonds retired after the '07 season.

Do you have any idea how retarded that sounds?

While only half-way through the season, and with prime summer months and post-season race attendance draws still ahead of us, I'm happy to announce that Major League Baseball is on pace to have its best attendance since the crippling blow it was dealt when wildly popular player, Barry Bonds', retired after the 2007 season.

Three years in and it's not even close. Trout is smashing records from the steroids era and Bryce Harper is flipping his hair.
I'll take either one.

I'm so glad we stayed on topic and had a civil discussion here.

I thought we'd never recover. Praised be Jeebus.
