Again, since you can't GRASP it.

You bitched about Lackey going game 1 but defending Mchugh. When lackey has the experience and shits on him stats wise and is his teams best pitcher. McHugh was the Stros 5th best pitcher. It's just fucking idiotic.

How many series has Price started off with a win? Just curious.

God damn some people.

I said Lackey was the worst #1 starter among all playoff teams. And he was. I also said there are at least 10 starters among playoff teams that are better than Lackey. And there are. I didn't even count McHugh in that group. You need to get over that one name.

As for Price, I find it hard to believe that you would even consider Lackey in the same class. It's absurd. Price has been better than Lackey for literally every day Price has been in MLB. You aren't very bright if you even think there is a legit debate here.

We are talking #1 starter for the playoffs what don't you get about that? Like it's not hard. Price has never won, not once.

So you want price starting over Madison Bumgarner too?

Fucking mental. Just mental.

You defended McHugh. It's really that simple. There is nothing to get over.

You contradict yourself and cherry pick.

You take Price because of what he's done in his career regular season. So why did you take Syndergaard over Lackey? His one year was worse than Lackeys this year.

Legit the dumbest argument I've ever seen.

I'm counting Hamels as the #1 for TEX(not Gallardo). I'm counting Kuechel as the #1 for HOU, as well. They just both had to go at the end of the season instead of having enough rest to start game 1 of the playoffs. Both are better than Lackey. Price is an ace. Lackey has never been an ace. I'll stick with Price and Bumgarner anytime.

Flat out: seeing someone say they would take Lackey over Price is the dumbest thing I've ever read on a sports message board. You clearly don't know the sport and are wasting my time.

Playoff baseball is a situational sport. Lackey was in an excellent situation to win and he did. When put outside of that situation, everything chappee is saying about Lackey is true but thats irrelevant.

You have shown very clear you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

Shit. Your first list had like 3 guys on the same team.

Fucking idiotic.

Thank god you don't make managerial decisions.

Exactly. The guy just doesn't have a clue.

It's the playoffs that's all that matters. I don't care what their June stats in 2009 were.

Possible, experience, plus the addition of Kendry and Rios makes them more dangerous

They dont really miss Holland so far

But i cant say the starting staff is better, Ventura seemed like he was more effective last season, having Johnny Cueto is actually a bad thing....I think the starting staff will do them in against a Mets starting staff that probably wont give up too many runs
Hows that working out:suds:

always hear great pitching wins in post season and its true its just not always the pitchers u think:suds:

How the fuck is having Cueto a "bad thing"??

Stick a fork in the Mets. They're done.

Still salty over Buckner?

Nope. Didn't like the Mets 15 years before that and still don't like em almost 30 years later.

BTW, the list of Sox players that fucked up in game 6 of the 1986 WS is lengthy and Buckner got a bad rap.

Calvin Schiraldi, Bob Stanley, Roger Clemens, manager John McNamara all had a hand in tossing that one away.

Buckner redeemed himself anyways

Exactly. The whole "debate" started when I called chappee out for saying that the Cardinals were fucked because they were starting Lackey in Game 1. Of course, once pinned down on that, he tried to shift the debate to a multitude of different topics and he's apparently trying to carry it on almost three weeks later. What are you gonna do?

One play, bad call, stroke of luck etc. maketh not a game nor series. Baseball fans are the worst when it comes to that.

The Royals give new meaning to the term "making contact." Great at bats for the Royals....has to be extremely frustrating for the Mets pitchers.
