I heard the same thing back then from many of the so called experts. This is nothing new. Do you guys watch tv? I seen on NFL network tonight they said the Eagles upgraded their QB position big time if he stays healthy. Don't know if I agree with that but that's what they were saying.

The ONLY QB they have said that about over the last 10+ years is Andrew Luck, not Sam Bradford. I've told you before, Bradford was a VERY good QB prospect, but not at the Manning/Luck level. Having a QB class which was probably the least talented in NFL draft history, didn't hurt either.

BTW, the key words there are IF HE STAYS HEALTHY. The guy didn't even make it out of the preseason last year, why would anyone have confidence he could make it through a brutal 16 game NFL season now? Do you think the Rams would've gotten rid of him if he wasn't such a HUGE risk? Every time the guy gets hit, they're going to be holding their breath and praying. Makes it even worse he's going to a system where he'll have to use mobility, talk about risky...

Again, live in the now. Bradford is not a draft pick anymore, so far he's an overpaid bust who won 19 games in five years, period...

Not sure what your point is, but thank you for making mine stronger!!!! Like I said, off field stuff gets overlooked all the time when a guy has talent. But I don't remember Sapp or Marino being drafted by the Rams which is why I used Phillips as an example of tons of talent but a troubled past.
