Good information, thanks. Did they ship Robertson out?
The roster move coincided when they put MM on the DL officially I believe

They better do as you say here and get at least one very good SP. Preferably through free agency so we could keep our prospects. We don't know what we will be getting from Holland and he's sporadic at beast.Swear....was thinking the same about Yu.
I read Price's speed is down this year and this is very concerning for trade purposes.
As far as the rotation for next season, Yu, Holland to begin the season. But we need to sign a good SP to be the # 3, with Lewis/Tep/Martinez/Saunders taking up the 4/5 slots to start the season. If Perez comes back and pitches decent the 2nd half of next season, which really isn't out of the attainable range, then we aren't in a bad shape with Yu, Holland, Perez, (Shields maybe), and whomever at # 5 by seasons end.
Moreland get his second opinion yet?The roster move coincided when they put MM on the DL officially I believe

Just something about reconstruction that has a bad ring to it. Hope a second opinion goes a little better. He sure covered up the injury well and that may have gone against him.Moreland get his second opinion yet?

2nd opinion scheduled for Thursday
There ya go....thank you sir.
May I ask, how is it you always seem to be on top of such things? I tried to find something about it and couldn't.![]()
You da man!
I just follow the right beat writers I guess. (andro, passan, etc)
You da man!
The Rangers recalled Brad Snyder from Triple-A Round Rock, and he'll bat sixth and play first base Tuesday against the Marlins. Snyder hit 284 with 18 homers and 51 RBI in 61 games for Round Rock.
He's actually been a good hitter at the AAA level for most of his career. I just don't see the point of calling up someone to play 1B that's not a 1B, who is 32 years old, and has no future at the ML level in this organization.
I would rather call up someone that's young and eager. Who knows, we could catch lightning in a bottle that way.
Give me a name and I'll try and work with ya.

Probably just a temporary move until they figure out what the outcome of the MM 2nd opinion is. They also may not want to start the clock on another player by adding them at this point in a season that will not amount to much
Mc Lemore said all the Team has to do is play better baseball. He did not say who on the team.
I get that, but Rua is 24 and Adams is 27 or so. You've got to start the clock and find out what you've got at some point. Now seems like a perfect time when we're not competing for a playoff spot.
