Both are good catcher, but Gimenez shows more offensive upside, and Yu likes him better.

Might as well put him over there if we aren't going to call up anyone else. There's not much difference between him and Snyder. I prefer a LH 1B, but I don't think it matters too much in this case.

Weird stat of the night: This is the 3rd time we've SO a team the game before an off day.

I looked it up because it felt like we've won most of the games before we have an off day.

It's a little strange, but the injuries have led to the overall bad ERA. The bullpen has a lot to do with it. Games where we're down by 3 or so end up being 7+ run losses. I'd rather have consistency. Unfortunately, I don't think the rotation is capable of it.


It is weird that we have so many SO's and our best pitcher got his 1st career SO tonight.

indeed, seems like we are either really good or really bad. Really happy for Yu that he got this one. Hopefully we will see a few more of these in the near future.
