Bears and Packers with 5 years worth of injuries and they still can't win it, LMAO.

Baltimore got lucky with that 61 yard FG by Tucker.

I still think Detroit wins the division.

The schedule still is extremely favorable for them PLUS they own the tiebreaks.

But, they cannot gag away either of the last two games versus bad teams.

They will actually be eliminated next week if Greenbay and Chicago both win. Since those two play each other the final week they cant make up ground on both.

Crazy that Detroit is like a mini Dallas team. Talent for sure but just cant get out of their own way.

Yeah. The Lions can play some defense though so at least there's that. That's really our biggest hope going forward. Because both the Bears & Pack clearly have better offenses when healthy unless something changes.

I've always said Schwartz has the intelligence to be a great coach, but he doesn't have the personality.

The Lions would be smart to look for a new HC. Preferably a defensive guy 'cause the passing game will always be dangerous with that decepticon flying around. In fact, I think Rex Ryan might even be a good fit if he gets canned in NY.

Schwartz is an idiot and needs to go. I wouldn't mind seeing Lovie Smith.

Since the Lions already have talented pieces on offense, that might not be a bad idea. As a Bears fan, I was sad to see him go, but at the same time I knew it was coming, and why. Im strictly guessing, but if he is interested in being a HC Id to think the Texans would be attractive since he is a Texas native.

According to the NFL Network, the Lions need to make the playoffs in order for coach Jim Schwartz to keep his job.
Monday night's home loss to the Ravens could be the nail in Schwartz's coffin. In order to make the playoffs, the Lions will need to win out and have both the Packers and Bears lose at least one game. Schwartz's team has dropped four of their last five games and are 7-7 on the season, leaving his career mark at just 29-49. He's made the playoffs once since taking over in 2009.:suds:

Its really sad the way they have lost some of their games.
-Lost at home to Cincy because of a shanked punt
-Lost at Pittsburgh because of a questionable fake field goal call which shifted momentm
-Lost at Philly because defense got run down in the 4th
-Then last nights debacle

Wow...I feel for Lions fans...agree, if there was a year to win the DIV this was it and not seeing them every week I just don't see why they're not more successful...the thing is they're not going to be able to afford both Suh and Fairley long term so they really need to be taking advantage of it.

How was that luck........cause he had the leg for it? cause he kicked it over the post? cause the wind was to his back? How?

nah............no luck there.

Maybe Stafford should not have thrown 3 ints.............

That wasn't the only play in the game.

Stafford had another opportunity to win the game even after that kick. But he blew it.

Ive seen so many Lions head coaches go down since the early 70's that it's unheard of. I am a Lions fan and blaming is a Lions fans rights, we deserve that. But a new coach wont always help, any true Lions fan knows that.. I would like to see Detroit win their last two games but i should'nt think that far ahead.. Stafford needs to go. FACT..
