she was fine....I think I remember some people wanting a spin off for her since she came off as such a cute little bad ass.

She almost made me miss Ollie. At least they killed him like the bitch he was.

And while we're at it, Pedro Pascal as Joel is a weird choice.

Not anywhere near as weird or dumb as Tom Holland being Nathan Drake but still weird. Thought they'd go with some unknown dude who fit the build a bit more but I guess they're just going with star power.

That was the way I remembered it.

That said, just because there hasn’t been a lot of criticism in the past doesn’t mean Cave’s opinion is invalid. Making a nine year old that bad ass is a stretch and I totally get some people not buying in. I can’t stand how they portray Judith in Walking Dead, for example.

thing is that is how the Mormonts are portrayed throughout the series...they are hardened by the cold and all that.

so it's just how the character is

Imo both Joel and Ellie should have the appearance of the most generic actors as possible and then they build into more interesting characters. The duo looks perfectly generic.

Anyways, Im going to avoid this topic like the plague so I wont say anything spoilerish. I have no doubt that the first season of the show will be at least decent.

Also, Ellie in the video games is played by a grown woman. A grown woman who I thought nailed the role.

It's going to be hard to have some teenager come in and do the previous performance justice. Especially when that teenager can't act.

Bella Ramsey has more than just a passing resemblance to Ashley Johnson. Maybe Ashley Johnson will play her older sister or mother pre-apocalypse.

With these kind of shows, I just figure right out of the shoot, it’s not going to be everything that everybody wants, but I’m excited to see what they do with it.

Tonight HBO will premier a zombie show based off an award winning video game. I have played the game (both 1 and 2) and I think they were awesome games if this series is anything like the game in which based on the trailer it looks like it is I think this will be an awesome show. Series premier tonight 9pm Easter

I liked the part where she called Sansa Stark "Sandra" and they left it in because the show was so bad at that point that no one cared.
